The Library Media Center is a fundamental part of the educational program of the Osceola School District. The mission of the IMC is to encourage, promote and assist students and teachers to be effective users of ideas, information, and technology.
We promote collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, are committed to the development of the ISTE, AASL, and 21st century skills, and provide access to information in a variety of resource formats that contribute to lifelong learning.
We also strive to provide materials that support the curriculum and academic goals of the Osceola School, help integrate technology and information literacy standards into the curriculum, and promote a love of reading for pleasure, personal growth, and to foster reading and use of a library for lifelong learning.
