Wisconsin Vision
The school district of Osceola follows the Wisconsin's Vision of Equitable Multi-Level Systems of Supports (EMLSS).
Implementing an equitable multi-level system of supports means providing equitable services, practices, and resources to every learner based upon responsiveness to effective instruction and intervention. In this system, high quality instruction, strategic use of data, and collaboration interact within a continuum of supports to facilitate learner success. Each school in the district provides varying types of supports at differing levels of intensity to proactively and responsively adjust to the needs of each student. These adjustments include the knowledge, skills, and habits learners need for success beyond high school, including developmental, academic, behavioral, social, and emotional skills. Collaborative teams use a range of data to match learner needs with evidence-based/research affirmed supports, monitor learner progress, and adjust the intensity and nature of the support accordingly.
What we do at Osceola Elementary School:
Osceola’s Equitable Multi-level Systems of Supports (EMLSS) conveys the vision of an integrated system of behavioral, social, emotional, and academic support, includes all educators and all learners, considers the whole child and system, and attends to equitable access, opportunity, and outcomes.
