Osceola’s story is one of deep roots and boundless growth—a journey that began in 1854 with a single school building, nestled in the heart of our community. From that modest beginning, we have flourished into a district that proudly serves over 1,400 students across 125 square miles, bridging two states (Wisconsin and Minnesota), two counties (Polk and St. Croix), and eight vibrant municipalities: the Village of Osceola, Town of Osceola, Town of Farmington, Town of Garfield, Town of Alden, Village of Dresser, Town of Somerset, and Town of Star Prairie.
When you walk into our schools, you’ll notice the bold green and white of our school colors—a symbol of our pride, tradition, and unwavering spirit. But beyond the colors, what truly defines us is our people. We are a community that believes deeply in the power of connection and the importance of every individual. From our students to our staff, to every parent, family member, and community partner, we know that people are what make our district extraordinary.
Our four schools—Osceola Elementary (Grades 4K-1), Osceola Intermediate (Grades 2-4), Osceola Middle (Grades 5-8), and Osceola High (Grades 9-12)—are more than just buildings. They are places where curiosity is sparked, dreams take shape, and lifelong friendships are formed. Every day, our 233 dedicated staff members bring their passion and expertise to life, serving not just as educators and support staff but as mentors, advocates, and champions for our students.
