Part 1 -- Driver's Education Online Classroom
We are excited to offer our Online Driver's Education class! Take the classroom Driver's Education from the comfort of your home, at your own pace. Our program is DOT and DPI certified. Our 30 hour online class is offered in partnership with the Wisconsin Professional Driving Schools Association. It consists of sixty, 30 minute lessons. Students have up to six (6) months to complete the class but can be completed in as little as 3 weeks. Please note, at this time we are only accepting registration for student who reside in the Osceola School District. Enrollment is also limited to 100 students. Also, we are not accepting transfer Behind The Wheel students.
Step 1: Registration & Payment
Once you have submitted a registration form and payment you will receive direction on how to get started in the online class. Email ComEd@osceolak12.org with inquiries. Minimum Age Requirement: Students must be 15 years old by the first day of class.

Part 2 -- Behind the Wheel
Students who have successfully completed the Online Classroom Driver's Education program, registered for the Behind The Wheel Program (and submitted payment of $250) can get their permit and begin driving!
The Behind the Wheel Program consists of 6 driving hours and 6 observing hours (total of 12 sessions) at a cost of $250. Again, registration is required along with payment. Students are also required to accumulate at least 50 hours of drive time with a parent and/or guardian, with 10 of those hours being during the hours of darkness.
Once registration and payment is completed, students & parents will be emailed information on scheduling their drive times.

Other important information:
- State Law: A student must have paid for Behind-the-Wheel and be enrolled in a Behind-the-Wheel program before they can receive their permit. You cannot get your permit until you are enrolled in B-T-W.
- IMPORTANT: MISSED DRIVING TIMES MAY RESULT IN A $25 FINE. If you need to miss your class, try to find a replacement behind the wheel driving student. How to Get Your Permit:
When you have completed and passed the course work, and enrolled in Behind the Wheel (BTW) you are able to get your permit and start taking BTW.
To get your permit application signed, Please schedule a time to meet with Mr. Marincel or Mrs. Collins to get your permit application signed. Please bring a student ID or birth certificate. Contact Steph Collins or Josh Marincel. Wednesdays before or after school they are available to meet to sign your permit application. Let Mrs. Collins and/or Mr. Marincel know that you are finished with the online classroom and that you would like to get your permit application. You will take your permit test at the WI DOT/DMV.

Supervised Driving Log |
Parents/Sponsors must certify that their student has obtained a minimum of 50 hours of supervised driving, with at least 10 hours at night. This form is provided for your convenience to keep track of driving time and experience. Each hour of supervised driving experience while accompanied by a qualified instructor may be considered as 2 hours of driving experience, with a maximum of 5 instructor-supervised hours able to be counted. |
